Unexpected

I plan to go take some photos today as long as the rain holds off...but in the meantime you can check out Shepherd's new promo video. Here's the link:

Shepherdstown Photos #4

Shepherdstown has a great wall that runs half a block downtown. Here’s the grassy side (and several retaining walls) and then another photo looking back toward the University. You might notice Town Run, the creek that runs through and under town.
Then there are two photos of the east side of downtown, one of which looks back up German Street.

Shepherdstown Photos #3

Some interesting buildings.
1. McMurran Hall, the original building of Shepherd Teacher’s College.
1. The Old Opera House, now the indie and art film movie theater.
2. One Two Kangaroo, where I buy the kids’ toys.
3. On the left is the Public Library (apparently the only ‘middle-of-the-road’ library this side of the Mississippi) and on the right is the Sweet Shop Bakery (where I used to work).

Shepherdstown Photos #2

Several shots looking down German Street. Here you can see our wonderful two blocks of ‘downtown’ shops, restaurants, and interesting architecture.

Shepherdstown Photos #1

Photo 1: Here’s the front of my house on Church Street.
Photo 2: Looking down Church Street in the direction my car is pointing. You can see three of the churches (including several steeples) that give the street its name.
Photo 3: The large Episcopal church on the corner of Church and German (main) Streets. This is one of my favorite buildings. I took this near Christmas. If you look closely you can see two old horse posts on the road.

Genesis

Came before Exodus. I'm still in Shepherdstown, though. This is simply a trial post for everyone to enjoy.
